!!!!
I was texting my professor about scheduling a lesson when...
- Prof: Hi Michael! Wednesday and Thursday I will be in Miami. Can we meet?
- Me: You're not on campus now, are you? If not, I can come on Wednesday morning.
- Prof: Wed a.m. is great. 10:30?
- Me: That sounds fine. See you at 10:30 on Wednesday.
- Prof: Fantabulous.
“Whoever claims to live in him must live as Jesus did.” 1 John 2:6
Dang.
The students worship team at my church recorded this in September. It’s not perfect, but we are definitely passionate about Jesus!
My brother sang back up vocals and played guitar. I was playing bass this particular week.
P.S. Sorry about the clipping… The recorder we used just couldn’t handle it haha.
Enjoy.
My jury is today. Wish me luck!
THIS is music.
With everything that I’ve been going through lately, all the problems, all the stress, this made me feel 3X better than I did before I listened to it.
Astor Piazzolla - Oblivion
For those of you who like the Beatles, I guarantee you will laugh at this.
Meet the Beat Alls
Today’s the day! There’s a count down and everything if you click on the link. Watch FSO’s final concert of the semester at 8:00 PM Eastern Standard Time.
Enjoy :)
Remember the name Abby Young. She is going to make it big one day really soon. I just got home from her Master’s recital, and she was stunning.
I also found this piece of gold.
Dizzy with his Dream band performing in 1982.
and I found this really cool. I would’ve voted for him.
Alright, so here’s what I decided to do about my schedule next semester:
I checked the both the music business and composition minor to see if I could fit them in my schedule, and I found that some comp minor class times conflicted with classes that I have to take at a certain time (like orchestra rehearsal, music theory, etc), and that the entry class for the music business minor is only offered in the Spring. So I can’t start either of those minors in the Fall. BUT I did register for some classes that will clear up my schedule in the future, so I will have plenty of time for both of those minors (probably). I will keep you all updated on my musical endeavors of course.
One of my classmates just offered me her teaching job over the Summer, which is good news. I would just sub in while she’s home in California, but it makes pretty good money, so I think I’m going to do it.
hmm. what else…
Oh, so I made a typo on one of my previous posts (I fixed it, though). FSO’s last concert this semester will be on April 20th, not the 12th. haha, I don’t think any of you really care that much, but just in case. The concert will be streaming live, and we’ve been working really hard, so it would be awesome if some of you tuned in.
Sorry these posts are so long…
Talk to me!
